Below are the services that I specialize in for your student's learning and development.
Reading Success
There is a direct correlation between strong reading skills and success for a student in their education. Students will receive instruction based on Orton-Gillingham principles, which is proven to provide the necessary support for students with learning disabilities, including Dyslexia.
Literacy Support
Literacy encompasses both reading and writing, where the student will be able to understand the whole picture of the story and feel empowered in all learning situations. Focus will be on the mechanics of writing, which includes proper letter formation, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and sentence structure.
Mathematical Guidance
Although numbers can seem scary, I can make it fun and help a student feel like a winner in all math problems that they encounter. Students will learn the relationship numbers have with each other to effectively solve mathematical problems through 5th grade level.
