I have received extensive training in Orton-Gillingham programs. Orton-Gillingham is proven to provide the necessary support for students with learning disabilities including Dyslexia. I use Structured Literacy and The Wilson Reading System which are Orton-Gillingham based. Structured Literacy and The Wilson Reading System are focused on the science of how children learn to read and write. I use an explicit and systemic approach to teach students how to decode (read) and encode (spell) with ease so they can read fluently, comprehend what they read, and successfully write their thoughts in a meaningful manner.

At-Home Tutoring
At Celeste Tutors, I offer individualized and small group instruction based on your child's personal learning style and ability level. My multisensory approach uses verbal, auditory, visual and hands-on instruction methods to ensure that your child gets the most out of each session. I am trained in Structured Literacy and The Wilson Reading System, which are based on the science of how children learn to read and write. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed, and I am here to help them reach their goals.
Tutoring is conducted in my at-home office space, which has all the tools and resources for your child's success.
